I headed out to Armstrong Woods in beautiful Sonoma County. The redwoods were beautiful along with many autumn colors blended in from other trees and plants. I have not been to Armstrong Woods since I was a small child. So this was like seeing a whole new location in Sonoma County.

Now for one of my favorite things to photograph, fungi! Check out all these tiny little mushrooms. the mushrooms are really just starting to grow. There were very few large mushrooms. Many colors and shapes.
Beauty in the forest floor. What a beautiful outing!
