Last night I decided to try out Pioneer Women's Chicken Cacciatore. It seems she has several recipes for the cacciatore. The recipe I used was in this book: The-Pioneer-Woman-Cooks-Frontier.
The recipe does take about an hour total with prep and cooking. It is very very good. It has a little of sweet taste. I used diced tomatoes as that is all I had but the recipe calls for crushed tomatoes.
Be warned this recipe makes a lot so have company over or if you have a large family that will work too.
My daughter is a picky eater and she liked this chicken and pasta a lot. Yea another thing added to her mac and cheese world. This was a very yummy meal and the leftovers were not to shabby either.
