Yea! Today we started preparing the 2nd home for vacation and other little trips out and about. We had dual batteries put in, so we can stay out dry camping much longer than 2 days. Then yesterday we gave the rubber roof the cleaning and conditioning that it needed.
The outside was then scrubbed. It was so pretty. We have a few more things to do: sanitize the water tank and fix some cracks in the siding by the door. It seems this is a weak point in metal siding trailers (lucky us). I have a few more goodies to buy to spruce up our traveling wagon and then we are on our way. The trailer went back to storage but it is only a short time before we bring it back to fill it up with yummy food and our load of things we love to take like our Peanut.
So stay tuned for the blog entries for the summer and beyond... we are very excited about our batteries, it will make life easy. Like no beeping alarms at 3:00 a.m. telling us the battery just died. Can't start a generator at that time of the morning.
