Got My Kindle! (2/26/09)

Last night after I gave up all hope that my Kindle would arrive on Wednesday, it did, 6:30 p.m. I put it on the charger and headed out to help take photos at my daughter's church youth group. I then returned promptly to start playing with my gadget, while watching American Idol. Not sure why I watched because no one stood out as winner. Danny is still my fav!



Back to the Kindle... it is very slim. The USB charger cord it comes with has a really cool design. The voice reader is ok, it will read a book to you. I prefer the man's voice over the woman's, her voice breaks up a little. I have ordered a couple of books and started reading at lunch today. So far I love my Kindle. My mom has raved about hers and now I can join the party. I have been saving money and finally have a new toy. Now I am waiting on my Red Case for it, stylish!

I know Amanda is dying to put some books on it too!
